Little Missouri Friday?

Last year about this time Lupe organized a run below the dam on the Little Missouri. Anybody interested in doing that again Friday? Faith and I would like to do it if the dam release is at a reasonable time.

As best as I can tell from this web site https://www.swepco.com/global/utilities ... -04-10.xls" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; the Narrow's dam release will be from 1500 to 1900. Should be a nice way to cool off Friday. Anyone know a contact number at the dam to confirm these times?

If you notice the heading says hour ending, so release would actually start at 2:00.

So the release starts at 2:00, not 3:00? Thanks for the info. Now if I can just get some interest.

Anyone notice if Saturday releases? I know they did occasionally.

I've been watching it all late Spring to now and they haven't released on any weekend yet. Ran it 5 times on week days during April and May when nothing else was up (only once with 2 units on. 3 units the other times).

Still looking for paddlers for Friday. Looks like the dam release is between 2:00 and 3:00 Friday. I'm thinking meet at the take out west of Murfreesboro on Muddy Fork Road ( out 13th street) between 12:30 and 1:00, leave a vehicle there and put the boats in below dam, with the goal of being at waters edge waiting for the sirens signaling the release at 2:00 pm. If anyone else has done this recently would love additional info.

Trip cancelled due to lack of interest - didn't want to take two vehicles all the way from Batesville for the shuttle.

Hey Cruiser, Dont give up on future efforts. I just could not get off today. There r times when I can an others also. The run moves well and is great for cool water in hot dry summer. My friends can get Fri. sometimes too.Hopefully a trip will work out soon.Minna

It is running next Friday if we can get a group to go. Let's post again for next Friday later in week. Maybe more people can come. I have other obligations Monday now it looks like.
