Anything happening 4th weekend around Fayetteville?. any float trips planned?
Is it not better to live with uncertainty than to fear to draw an honest breath?

Re: Anything happening 4th weekend around Fayetteville?
Hello everyone, is anything happening anywhere the weekend of the 4th?
Re: Anything happening 4th weekend around Fayetteville?
Carrie and I are going to be doing some flat water if I cant plan a float trip for a over night or two on the buffalo...
If anyone is interested in joinin us, we are out of Glenwood.
The buffalo trip is kinda of a reach for me at the moment due to me not knowing the river. Carrie knows the river better than I do, we are not really looking for rapids at the moment. (well Im not looking for rapids :roll: ) I was also thinking of a Island hop trip across Ouachita, that would be either two or three days, east to west or west to east... (thats my kind of trippin
)
The other idea floating around is a different lake everyday, which is norm for us, the trips usually consist of a early to mid morning arrival at the lake and paddling for 6 to 8 hours with swim and lunch brakes. When we pull off the lake we may hit a place to eat on the way home.
We would really love to tag along or have some one come paddling with us!
I will chat with carrie tomorrow when I get home from work (Im on night shift at the power plant now) and we will firm up our plans on what we would like to do.
see ya out on the water

I live in Oklahoma and will be over in the area this weekend, can anyone tell me a good place to see fireworks in the area?
