ERROR on USGS Big Piney gauge

Post by KBL44 » Fri Jun 11, 2010 5:21 pm

The USGS gauge is not reading right at Longpool or Twin Bridges as of 4pm today. The Moore's are reporting the water level is 9.5 and still rising. If you have Facebook Mrs. Debbie tries to keep it updated on the Moore Outdoors page.

From what I can see on the USGS Waterwatch site, the current level is about 6.91 ft. Judging from the decline on the graph, I would say it might read about 5 ft. around 11 a.m. on Saturday.

Jim, the Piney what is good safer level to paddle and fun level? Also, see the Mulberry is looking good too, even Sunday would be good.

Can anyone tell me how Moore Outdoors is listed on Facebook? I can't find them. Thanks!
