Clan Crawford +1 NewB are headed up for the rest of the week. Leaving El DoDo Tues. a.m. Supposed to hook up and float with Clif & Co. later in the week. We'll be in the Tyler Bend and/or Buffalo Pt. area camping and floating if anyone is up that way and wants to join in.... I will check back tomorrow a.m. prior to leaving. Afterward won't have internet access unless we can find some WiFi for the daughter's iPod.

If you see a dark green XTerra with ACC sticker on back glass and rack full of boats on top.... it's probably us.
Daughter said I should add "if the driver is a tall, fat, bald or goofy-hat wearing, Sasquatch-footed man in his 40's you can drop the probably." Can't you feel the love?

We didn't get to float with Clif & Co. Q came down sick. It was warmer than I would have liked but, not as bad as El Do. Little bony 1st 3 days but with a NewB (our pastor's daughter) that was OK. She really enjoyed it. She loves wave trains. Sat. we got to ride the 2-2.5 foot surge from the Thurs. night Fri. morning rains. All day floats that we have run before but still good. We did Baker Ford to HWY 65, HWY 65 to Gilbert, Spring Creek to Buffalo Pt. and HWY 14 to Rush. HWY 14 to Rush was on the surge and was rolling. Clif it would have been a great day to run Gilbert to one of the Maumees. We covered the 8.9 miles with 4 swim and 1 lunch stop in 4 hrs. Plus we made our annual trip up to Sodies in Flippin. Only saw 1 (unintentional) turnover, couple from Kansas with 4 y.o. daughter and 9 y.o. son. Others caught canoe, I retrieved PFD, both paddles and bottle of water. Get back to them and the 4 y.o. is crying her eyes out and the 9 y.o. wants to know if they can do it again.
