Message Board Safari/Chrome Login Issues

Post by Regud » Fri May 21, 2010 10:02 am

Several users have mentioned that they have trouble logging in and/or staying logged in using either the Safari or Chrome web browser.

After researching this a bit, I have discovered that this is an undocumented feature (read bug) that our message board software has with these browsers. I have yet to discover the specific conditions that cause these login issues because I have see both browser function normally and with login issues. The usual clearing of cookies and deleting cache files do not appear to help in all cases. It is, however, something that should be tried

We realize that there is a problem and are continuing to look into it.

The temporary solution is to try using another web browser to access the message board (eg. Firefox, Internet Explorer).

Thanks for your patience!

I'm having no issues with Chrome

<note both Safari and Chrome are Web-Kit based browsers>

hope that helps you find the glitch

I've been using Chrome for a while and haven't had any issues...
