My buddy and I are looking for some fishing/relaxing this weekend, Saturday mostly. We rented a boat at lake Ouachita last year, but I think the river would be less overwhelming, considering the size boat we rented last year (tiny).
Anyone have a recommendation for a float near Hot Springs that would have some good to ok fishing and canoe rental available?
Thanks in advance.

Caddo and Ouachita Rivers both have canoe/kayak liveries on them. For the Caddo: Arrowhead Canoe Rental or Caddo River Camping and Canoe. For the Ouachita try M&M Canoe
Be sure to check water levels if you're getting out this weekend.
Hope that helps.

As Jeremy said, Caddo or Ouachita. This Saturday the Ouachita, I feel, will still be too high from the rains of the last 36 hours, however the Caddo should be very good to go. Either of the two outfitters Jeremy mentioned on the Caddo are just the best. With the sunny weather and hot temps. on Saturday, the Caddo Gap to Glenwood float will probably have a group of floaters, so if you are really looking for the most solitude, I would suggest Norman to Caddo Gap, or Glenwood to Amity :)
