Heads up NW ARK from I40 area and north
Big time tornados on the ground in east OKC and I40 I44 area
TV 6 spotters just sent in video of a Love's that just got torn apart in OKC area.
Tulsa is gonna get it soon as of 615pm not here yet but moving up both I44 and I40
Hopefully Ft Smith and North will be cool enough to shut these things down but for now OK and KS are getting into the danger zone
Right now our TV Channel 6 has 5 tornados or soon to be tornados tracking on their radar
Heads up guys just in case

Eeeeee Dawgies Uncle Jed! Looks like it's headed right for our place. Passing over the ark/okla border right now. Folks are headed to their frady holes!!! Will check back in, if we still have power, later......

No problems here. The storm went through just north of us and seems to have been winding down about the same time. Will have to check the local news for any damage reports.
Worst I heard of around here was downed trees in Oklahoma near the border. That is the worst here but I know Moore/Norman area was hit pretty hard yesterday afternoon with at least one fatality.

I was in the middle of that storm last night driving to Oklahoma City for work. Drove right by the destroyed Love store (after having been diverted briefly off I-40 which was closed!). I had to pull off to a rest stop to allow the storm to pass & make sure I was out of the tornado(s) path(s).
Larry P. was about an hour or two behind me on the road as well. My rental car got dinged up with hail somewhere between golf ball & baseball sized.

Okieboater, Never heard back from you, hope all is well.

Had a little morning surprise here in west Tulsa today. Slept through it, but found this down the street in my neighborhood when I headed to work (pictures linked). I'm thinking micro-burst or gust-nado.

I live just a few miles south east of RandyJ.
My guess is the same winds that got him, also got us.
I do not think our house was in the middle of this twister path, but close, from the way tree limbs were broken, we got hit by big time revolving winds. I woke up sometimes after 4 am to weird shrieking sounds from the wind and a big time flash of light. Which turned out to be a big tree limb smashing into the power lines behind our house. Which instantly shorted out our power. Power lines are under ground in our subdivision but the feed is from standard over head lines which happen to run behind our house. The PSO crew got to us this morning around 10 or so. Our group of houses lost a ton of tree limbs and a few trees and privacy fences blown down, I think we were in the last group to get power restored and a day and one half without electricity sure puts a kink in what you do around the house.
We were lucky, lots of damage in other areas of Tulsa and the bedroom communities.
