I had a buddy sending me picture messages today, I bet its incredible. I've never run it above 2600 or so, but from what I've seen it only keeps getting better. My friend J.J. who I've worked with the last couple summers out there ran it at 8000cfs last year, he said "it was definitely runnable, and fun as sh*t". He said it was pretty much just one gigantic wave train. I imagine the play is huge, but I wouldn't really know I'm just a

I'll be in Chattanooga at the end of the month. I sure hope it holds 'til then. A buddy in Chat. said he talked to TVA yesterday, and they don't have a date of when the flume will be fixed. They said, due to it's historical significance, repair will take extra planning.

So, all kidding aside, I will be out there at the end of this month and I've logged enough runs down the Ocoee to be pretty familiar with it. Do you think this boosts the rating up above IV? Obviously you wouldn't want to take a swim by any means, I'd imagine the possibility of self rescue would be pretty slim. But how often do you really get the chance to hit it at this level :D
