Agreed. Thanks to all involved. This was my first WW school, and it is quite an impressive event. Special thanks to my instructors (Adam, Joe and Harlan), who did a great job.

It was a challenge to do flat water drills on the lake and then find current differentials strong enough to put the concepts learned on the lake thru the real test on the river. I learned this year that it can be done.

K9 was lucky to have a class of eager learners who worked with us every minute of class time. Then went on to finish a lot of drills on the lake and work the dickens out of the current differentials we found on Sunday. You guys earned a big thanks for your attitude.

Being in kayaks all these years, I have normally done our class shuttles within the class. This gets it done, but takes away from instruction time.

Marc and Patti are putting a lot of emphases on instructors using the Shuttle Drivers Program. Our class used the shuttle team this year and it was very nice.

I think, based on my experience having our shuttles taken care of gives us instructors up to one more hour a day's time to coach.

There is a lot of unsung heros making Canoe School work. They all are key players. I want to add a couple more teams that make life easier for us instructors.

I really appreciate the Fish Fry Team and the Pancake Team. Having food available gives us instructors more time to teach on Saturday and still get folks fed. The ability to have a good tasting and filling breakfast makes it much easier to get classes on the river and moving fast on Sunday.

Like I said earlier lots of folks to thank, I want to be sure the Shuttle Team, The Fish Fry Team and the Pancake Team get plenty of kudos and are back in force next year. You guys and gals are appreciated by the instructors.

Every year it seems to me that the Canoe School's operation gets better.. If we only had a Dam upstream to release water on demand. I know there is a lot of issues with Dams on WW streams, but some times they do help out.

I had a great time and learned a lot, helped develop my confidence and better skills from the best instructors, Randy and Judy. Thanks to Cliff for all your assistance and shuttling us and for all your tips, etc. I fully enjoyed our time and good weather, decent water. Hope to see you again soon on the rivers.

Wonder who was the hot-shot pilot buzzing Turner Bend in the hot rod airplane on Sunday afternoon?

Thanks to Marc, and the many others who made it happen! I appreciate the opportunity to meet new folks and to show off the line of Mohawk Canoes. Having had a great time, I'm looking forward to the next ACC event!

okieboaterdave, it was our pleasure. Besides, we gots us a new name! It's the Grand Theft Van Shuttle Team! Errors were made, amends and apologies were accepted graciously! Good to see everybody again!

Roger - how do you figure it was a team effort? If memory serves me right, it was one individual who got PONTIAC MINIVAN mixed up with FORD FULL SIZE VAN, but heck, they were both blue so said individual just picked one :poke: I have to admit it was pretty funny........glad it all worked out.

Thanks to the Van Camps  they are wonderful and school would not have been the same without them. :D They spend many hours doing a sometimes thank less task, :o and get fussed at if anything goes wrong. :? I love them and they are super great and wonderful job.  It's not your fault the drivers are crazy :poke:
