Need a little help!!!!

Post by 2fast2reid » Wed Apr 28, 2010 1:39 pm

Okay well a friend of mine backed over his Wildersness Systems kayak over the wkend. Well we popped out the mashed parts, but it also has a hole in the bottom. Its about the size of your thumb then leading into a 6" long deep gash (but not all the way through) so what are the options on patching the boat.

Thanks

I suggest using G-Flex 655, the thickened version. If your interested, I'm building/repairing boats at the Mohawk Canoe shop in Fort Smith. I would be glad to take a look. However, I'm only there by appointment so let me know in advance.

Here is what I would do:

Option 1: Throw it away and buy an Old Town Rush. I know someone that has a good one for sale

Option B: Go with Matt, Jeremy, and Spanke's suggestion.

I'll have several Mohawk whitewater open boats available for demo at the ACC School this weekend.

He is not really into bigger water just uses it to fish and booze cruise in most of the time. I believe he is going to go w G-flex.

Thanks
