Have paddled a Rodeo for about 2 minutes on the New River Gorge, at a surfing wave somewhere near the top. It was set up for a guy about 6ft5, with foam glued to the sidewalls, that he used for doing OC-1 enders. Despite this, I thought it was a good boat, but haven't paddled the Mohawk version, but can't think it will be much different from the original. Dale

from what ive heard, the rodeo is pretty similar to my esquif zoom. that being said, i have heard both good and bad. my understanding after talking with the guys at mohawk is they have not been making many of these boats, but are about to start pumping out more in the very near future. hopefully one will show up in ft. smith in the next few weeks. if not, hopefully i can pick one up when at the chattanooga factory in about a month or so. get in touch with my buddy dave down in ft. smith at dthomas@mohawkcanoes.com, he is repping the boats, and if we get one in chattanooga it will be for demo. i am excited about paddling one.

sorry, i was thinking about the maxim. havnt heard as much about the rodeo. I would think it would be somewhat similar to a viper 11, but am not 100% on that.

Bob, I may be wrong but I think it's a shortened version of the Viper, not the Probe. Might make a good creeker.
