Looking for kayak
Looking for kayak
Looking for 9 to 12 foot kayak. Something for more of a beginner. Like the dagger approach and the zydeco. Also like old town and liquid logic. I just sold my Perception 3D. I want something that I can take a drink of beer and not be all turned around. Anyway let me know what you got.

Re: Looking for kayak
I have a Liquid Logic Tryon, 10', very good condition, with a quality LL neoprene skirt, $400 firm. You can look at the LL website for the specs., as well as reviews out there. The boat is yellow in color.
We have a 20 acre public lake here in Benton, if you'd care to try it sometime, just let me know.
Best Regards

Jim, I have a Liquidlogic Tryon including cover, skirt, sprayskirt and paddle for $400. Also have Liquidlogic Tuxedo (a little more stable than the Tryon) including sprayskirt and paddle for $350. Lot of other items for a novice. Live in Hot Springs Village. Think I have paddled with you and Billy and Kris McMillan a couple of years back.

Re: Looking for kayak
Don,
I met with BJ last week at the lake here so he could try the Tryon.
The Tryon is a boat I bought from a friend who needed to sell it some years ago, it's a very well constructed boat, one of Liquid Logic's better recreational types when they made such craft, but I have just never liked it because it's tippy, pointy, and the sides are always too high except for someone like me who is as tall as a basketball player. BJ tried it out, but I couldn't be honest with myself if I didn't recommend the Dagger Approach, or others that he might try before spending his cash. I think I'll be destined to hold on to the Tryon for non-suspecting relatives and friends who just need a boat and gear for a day. Billy and Kris are the ONLY friends who actually liked the darned boats, and could paddle them well, and I'm only sorry they have semi-retired from paddling... If you find a nice couple that would like a pair if them, let me know and we'll both be in business
Best Regards

Re: Looking for kayak
I have considered selling my Dagger Approach. It is red in color. Would ask $500. My husband sold his for that. Let me know and I will see about it. I may be trying another hybrid maybe.

We have a Dagger Approach 9 foot. - River/Whitewater Crossover Combo
This is a great little kayak if you love both river trips and running rapids. With the skeg (rudder) down it tracks really well on the straight water, then when you come to some rapids, put up the skeg and it becomes a great fun play boat with easy turns and maneuverability. It's perfect for a small adult. It is in really good condition - our kids have all left for college so we no longer need four kayaks. Asking $460
I am in Conway

Just to help everyone out...this is a buddy of mine and he bought a Dagger Approach a few weeks ago and isn't needing a boat anymore.
