INSTRUCTIONS

The plan is for volunteers to meet at the Tyler Bend Pavilion at 9:00 AM.
We will break the volunteers into groups assigned a color that coordinates
with a river segment and a park leader who will lead the group to the
launch site. The park lead will then meet the group at the take out site
and transport the drivers back to their vehicles which will be left at the
launch site. The park staff will pick up the collected trash at the take
out sites and place it in dumpsters.

Currently water levels are at a good level, even the upper river is
floatable - rare for this time of year. We will drive to the put in sites
the day before the cleanup to check on river levels. Those who attend can
look at river levels by going to the park's web site and clicking on the
"hydrologic web page" link, which will take them to the USGS site where
they can view water levels at Ponca, Pruitt, Hwy. 65 bridge and Hwy. 14
bridge. If the water is low we will likely not cleanup the section that
usually goes dry.

It would help if you could ask volunteers to bring their own drinks and
canoe. We will be able to provide canoes for those who do not have one and
will provide trash bags and sun screen. Currently federal procurement
regulations prevent us from buying food and drinks.

River Segment - Color - Group Park Leader - Assigned vehicle

1. Tyler Bend to Gilbert - Red - Rachel Green - Excursion

2. Baker Ford to Tyler Bend - Blue - Shawn Hodges - Jeep Cherokee

3. Woolum to Baker Ford - Green - aron Usrey - Tahoe

4. Mt. Hersey to Woolum - Black - Fenn Wimberly - Blazer

5. Carver to Mt. Hersey - Purple - Kevin Ledford - Chevy Truck

6. Hasty to Carver - Brown - Mark DePoy - Ford Truck

PB, I will be camping Friday night with some boy scouts. Our cleanup section is Spring Creek Access to Hwy 14 bridge. We will put on the river about 6pm, paddle to the gravel bar across from Jackpot Bluff and camp. Saturday morning we will continue down to Hwy 14 bridge.
There is at least one tire and the typical cans and plastic to pick up along the way.

PB, anytime I am on the river, you are more than welcomed to join me.
