Dry suits on sale?

Post by TrentF » Thu Jul 25, 2013 7:56 pm

I've heard from several other paddlers that a person can buy a good quality (new) dry suit this time of year cheaper than you can during boating season. I'm having trouble finding any that is actually on sale. Anyone have any places to suggest to look?
Thanks in advance

If your okay with last years colors, try this place. http://www.nykayak.com/Kokatat-GMER-Gor ... p_986.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

You can also get a discount on gear at Ouachita Outdoor Outfitters, for being an ACC member.

Hi all, I was just wondering if anybody has any experience with the Bomber Gear Bomb long sleeve dry top. It is a fairly new offering so I can't find much information on it. I've been wanting a Sweet or Kokatat but theclymb.com has a pretty good deal on the Bomber Gear and I'm wondering if it's worth the extra coin for one of those. The retail is in the price range of Sweet Shadrach and Kokatat Rogue. Those tops are Gore-Tex and the Bomber Gear is 4-layer entrant.

Try before you buy,
I tried one on at NOC this last weekend and it
has an unusual cuff on the sleeve. Good material
and fit - I passed because of the cuff.
Others must like it they were selling a bunch.....

Got mine on Amazon for $277 Arrived new in the bag with a slit in the leg.
At the advice of a wizened paddler I sent it to the mfg.
They repaired it!
no charge no return shipping!
Outdoorplay has them on sale right now.

I have 2 bomber gear tops and they are the bomb! Pun intended!! Lol. I love them. 4 years of use and no problems !! They slip in and out of pogies nicely.

A friend saw this and was asking what I thought: http://www.nrs.com/product/22514/nrs-me ... t-closeout" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
I'm not familiar with the Triton fabric. Anybody have any opinions? It looks like a good deal.
