Bell Yellowstone flotation

Post by Eztouche » Tue Jun 19, 2012 2:45 am

Debating installing flotation for a Bell Yellowstone solo boat I have acquired.
Do I want to drill holes for the lacing or use the eye and rivet approach?
Are any of the screw-on/rivet-on eyes better than others?

I have an eye and rivet kit from harmony that I never used. If you're interested pm me. I'll make you a deal on it.

sorry i didn't see this sooner but if you are still undecided here is how i did my yellowstone. i used stainless screws and small black plastic cable clamps. you can drill from the inside of the gunwale rail up high without penetrating through. screw the clamps in place and you're ready to thread your laceing in place and down to your d ring on the floor.
