Little Missouri River June 15

Once again as water runs out on your favorite Arkansas streams the Little Missouri River near Murfreesboro is running weekdays. The release on Thursday begins at 1 p.m. as will our shuttle. The Little Mo. is a class II+ river featuring several play spots and would be a small step up for those that attended one of the clubs schools. I run this trip several times each month during the summer, and try to vary the day of the week as much as possible. Please post if your coming as it effects the shuttle. The shuttle must leave Riverside Park put-in by 1 so we get to the play spots at their best levels. Riverside Park is North of Murfreesboro on Arkansas Highway 19. Next weeks trip will be on Wednesday June 2 if there is a release. I'll post the time next week. BOB

Hey Bob,

Thank you so much for posting this trip, I was sitting at the dog park just yesterday during the heat of the afternoon and thought how nice another dose of cool river water would be. Miss Marlo and I will see you there.
I presume you intend to meet at Riverside shortly before 1 to unload, then shuttle some vehicles down to the take-out. If anything different, do let me know and I will be glad to adjust. Thanks again!

6 of us enjoyed a hot day on a cool river. The whitewater paddlers played and the rest paddled a leisurely pace. Great way to spend a hot day. Although rain threatened it never developed. Great day great group. BOB
