Caddo Gap to Glenwood on Saturday

I'm going to check the river conditions in the morning around 8am, if the level is at 6.50ft or more then, Marlo and I will be heading that way, if not, then not. It is still very low as of now, we shall see what develops. Will post again in the morning.

Alright-Tee, it looks like everything is running well this morning The Caddo is at 7.24 ft. and should still be about 7ft. at put-in time.
Marlo and I will be heading that way later this morning. We'll meet under the Glenwood, Hwy 70 bridge about 11am to set shuttle with any other interested parties.

What a nice day on the Caddo yesterday! We had a group of six paddlers; Susan, Liz, Ed & Shannon, and Miss Marlo & me. The river was a bit turbid after the rainfall, but at a level just under 7 feet, there were many nice bouncy wave trains. We saw only a few other folks out there, mainly folks in rental SOT's, they all looked like they had a good time too but some pretty wet and probably needed a bit more clothing to stave-off the chill.
Thanks everyone for coming, and thank you Susan for the ride back to get the trucks afterward! I hope the weather and water will cooperate for more trips this Spring

Hate that I missed this trip. Caddo up around and just over 7' is a fun ride.
