Post by Jim Krueger » Sat Sep 03, 2016 4:51 pm

Marlo and I are planning to float the Remmel section of the Ouachita River tomorrow, we will be meeting any interested parties at the WW Park boat ramp at noon to consolidate and head on up to the put-in.

Best Regards
Jim

I am planning to be there at noon today. I have never been to WW Park but will hopefully be able to find it.

When you get off I-30 at Malvern head a short distance toward town, turn right on River Creek St. between McDonalds and Wendy's. Follow that street down to the bottom of the hill and across a small bridge, then turn left and follow that street down to the TEE intersection, turn right on River View street it will take you under the interstate bridge and just around the curve will be the WW park.

It was such a nice float down from the dam today! We had six floaters in our group, and we also enjoyed getting to visit with an even larger ACC group for a few minutes at the' half-way or so point 'gravel bar on the way downstream. Thanks to all for coming along, I always enjoy the good conversation, and certainly the shuttle help, and the loading assistance at the end.

Best Regards
Jim
