I started kayaking about a year ago. Have paddled several class 3s, and a class 4. I am confident in my roll,and have dry gear. Looking for a group or person that would be willing to include me on a trip somewhere on 3/28. A whole slew of folks are meeting at 10am at the Longpool campground to do the Piney on Saturday.

If a cossatot trip happens, I will be leaving from ooo 8am.

It's somewhat ironic that "social" media actually performs an exclusionary function for those who don't embrace it.

Same way that message boards don't work for people without access and phone trees don't work for people who dislike talking on the phone.

The ACC message board used to be the standard resource for publicizing paddling trips before the widespread popularity of privacy-invading and data-rich social media. Many of those who avoid social media are not Luddites, they're just not of the herd mentality.

Thanks to everyone for all the help.! I went up Friday night and stayed at Long pool campground with Gordon Kumpuris,before the float on Saturday.,so I was out of service Friday night. Thanks again. Tim Norwood
