Anything around Hot Springs?

Hello! My husband and I just moved to Little Rock from Virginia...is there anything to paddle around Hot Springs? I'm cool with Class III+ and husband is good on Class IV-V stuff... If anyone is planning on paddling this weekend and wouldn't mind us tagging along, we can offer beer and high fives!

Bad news, I don't think that anything is running right now in the Ozarks or Ouachitas. Good news, paddling season is just around the corner.

Have you tried the Remmel dam to Rockport ledge float ? They are supposed to open dam from 6 am till noon tomorrow. Me and a friend are going.

Nope, we are brand new to AR (stationed at Little Rock AFB) and have no idea where to go...open to suggestions!

Brunch at the takeout too. Come on out.

I think remmel will be generating tomorrow so park and play at rockport is an option. There may not be anyone else there though.

Remmel will begin releasing about 1,200 CFS at 6 AM and increase that release to 3,600 CFS from 9 AM to Noon.
