Planning to join the fun!! Might have some folks with me, waiting confirmation. In any case, I'll plan to be at OOO at 8 see if car-pooling is an option. . . should be a great day to be on the water!

Since we will be putting-in fairly early, mid-morning-ish, I know Marlo and I will stop at either Hind's Bluff to eat lunch,or the nice, level, private property stop about a mile and a half further on, on river left to eat our lunch. We'll be stopping at both places regardless to relax and visit.
It should be a real fun day! Beth, Wally, Erik, I hope you can all meet-up in the morning at OOO.

what are you paddling. Pam is meeting me at OOO at 0800 and she has an inflatable. We may all fit in my truck. have not heard back from Erik.

I forgot to mention the most important detail earlier, Thank You Liz for orchestrating this trip! Wally, you may hear from Beth and Eric's posts later in the evening, but I can say, they both paddle fairly small kayaks.

Thanks. how about setting shuttle. should we go to take out and set or go to put in and set from there.

If Marlo and I can get over in that area, by 9:30 or so, we'll sure stop by the take-out to see if we may carry anyone up to the top, otherwise if we are running later, I'll head on up to the put-in and try and get a ride back to fetch the vehicle later.

I'm not comfortable taking a break on the left given the new "no trespassing" signs, unless someone in our group has discussed it with the owner. I also don't want to miss the rising water on that last set of play waves!

As far as shuttle, Bob will self shuttle with his scooter and have his van at the take out. Last time he managed to cram all the drivers in to take back at the end of the day.

Heather and I will be at the takeout at 9:30 and can take either two kayaks or one canoe if anyone wants to meet us there and throw on with us and leave your vehicle so you can take us back top at the end of the day.

We will leave the takeout no later than 9:40 to go to the put in.

Hey Chris - that's perfect. We can very quickly add your kayak to my car and head to the top. Between Bob's van and your car at the take out I'm sure we'll be able to shuttle all the drivers back to the put in at the end of the day to fetch vehicles. If any others can manage to leave a car at the take out, great, but we should have everyone covered.

I will be at the take out in a silver Sierra and go from there

Riptide - since you have a long drive, if you want to just head straight to the put in to be ready to launch at 10am, we can cover your shuttle.

But if you have a small kayak (e.g. not a rec kayak and not a canoe) and can get to the take out by 9:30 then I can add you and your kayak to my car and you can leave your vehicle at the take out. Either way is fine!
