I've been running that creek for 30 years now. I've watched the hole at the falls recirculate large logs at high water. There's a run on the left side that avoids the hole. Hope this wasn't your first run on Roark. Flooded is not the best way to meet any creek or river. Standing up is an absolute no, no. Just an old man giving some young guys sane advice. Now go try Cane Creek, the best run in Taney county (my opinion).
