Sweet! I dig that perspective, you get to see the river and the strokes it takes to get down the river. How is rolling with a pole on your boat though? -M-

Depends on your roll, boat length and sheer luck.. A c to c would not be an issue.

I would think the only time it would get in the way of your roll might be a back-deck or if the river is just too shallow.

The video looks great!

If the river is too shallow, bye bye Gopro.

It's a homemade plunger mount! Had it on my playboat also not problems with rolling. I rolled at the first of that video. The mount is not coming off the boat unless the grab handle comes off. The pipe is the same was. The cam can be broke off but it has a floaty on it so its pretty safe!

The stability of the rig looks really solid. Darn good work!

Gannon- You inspired me. I just took a cheap tripod and my waterproof Fiji camera, and strapped it to the back deck of the Octane. I think I can get that same perspective. Can't wait to try it.-M-

Looks great, how about some shots of the mount itself?

Try exporting the photos at 1000X1000 (or similar)
