Nice job, Tom. I like the way you made it look warmer than I remember it being. And drier. Great stuff!

Well observed! That took some work. Had to lose a bunch of good shots for that reason.
Most of the camping/lifestyle stuff looked too cold.

Wow!What a great job!
It makes me want to do Whitewater School.(I've done it twice already but I'm a slow learner.)
I think James Earl Jones would be too laid back sounding for this vid.

Share it with anyone that may be interested in SOWWP.
When I watch it on this website it stops every two seconds so I shared it to my facebook( )page and it plays seamlessly.
It may be on my end but I've always had trouble with video and photos on the canoe club website,do'nt get me wrong I do'nt think the ACC should be linked in any way to facebook. :NoNo: (I have doubts about their privacy priorities.)

Papa Dave, to experience the wonder of Petit Jean bacon check out this link, but it can also be purchased in most NW AR grocery stores:

But your best bet is to put the next Bacon Bowl on your calendar next year (just missed it this year), where you can hang with fellow worshipers of the fruit of the pig:

Thanks Fish,

I found out the main bacon site is just off I40 at Morrilton exit where I usually stop for gas and coffee heading east. So it will be on my list of to do's next trip.

I think a big ole plate of this bacon along with eggs or pancakes would be a ton better than the cold pop tops pastry we used to have for breakfast on many of our adventures.

Think I will just go ahead and get UPS and the on line order center get the family some bacon for the traditional Christmas Breakfast.

Glad to see you still follow the message board, stay in touch!

Having consumed more than my share of good ole Arkansas Smoked meat over the years, a good slice of cured ham would go well for breakfast good stuff!

Appreciate the recommendation.

Man, don't diss the official Breakfast of Stupids (TM). Sometimes we down some "mini-bacon" (aka Fritos mixed with artificial bacon bits) to go with the cold tarts. Wash it down with ice-cold gator aid, and you're ready to hike your boat in to the creek.

Team Stupid lives on!

The play never changes only the actors and stages.

Good times for sure :yahoo:

SO love the video and have been planning on attending the spring 2014 whitewater school for months, but sick to my stomach when I saw what weekend it is! Unfortunately that is the ONLY weekend in 2014 that I have plans, and pretty important plans at that (MOH for my sister's wedding!).

Do any of our neighbor states offer anything comparable? Would they be listed on the ACA website?

Attend the canoe clubs Rec School on the Spring River near Mammoth Spring, AR in early June/late May (I haven't heard the dates announced).

The weather is consistently better, the water is a consistent level... Both of which make teaching easier I think.

They cover the same skills as WW school on similar Class II water.

Sig beat me to it. Having participated in both I agree that while the Spring is a little tamer than the Mulberry (at least the water is ), Rec school is still very beneficial and a ton of fun. If you decide to go you won't regret it.

Yep! Rec school is a good call.

Now, THAT's a video!

I realize this thread has gone beyond complimentary stage, but I'm gonna pull it back in to perspective.
That video rules.
Period.

Tom, you could sell $#it to a sewer treatment plant with those skills!

Hope everyone agrees. As a non-board member, I nominate Tom as official vidoegrapher without pay. Can I get a second?
