"Better than Rockport?"
Well, it runs 24 / 7 / 365
However, the wave isn't as big or challenging.

Isn't that like screaming for quiet?

Re: INFO ON FISHER'S FORD
I paddle @ Fisher's quite a bit. Fish's summary on the Ozark Whitewater Page hits it right on the head: "Don't expect a big wave and you won't be disappointed." It's a fun little spot--not big, challenging, or intimidating. It's a good place to surf a little, practice eddy turns, ferries, peel outs, other basic moves. It definitely beats staying inside and not paddling, but if you have something closer, I wouldn't make a long drive to get there.

My son (15y.o.) and I practiced at Fisher Ford - it was real easy for me, but my son really had a blast. Great practice - smaller than Rockport for me. Enjoy!
