Trying out a new format for meeting announcements in the forum. In an effort to reduce the number of different threads, as in the past, meeting information for the NW Chapter will continue to be added here monthly, with dates, times, meeting places (or links to click and join), and any other pertinent information in subsequent comments. Just scroll to the bottom for the most current updates!


May 18th, 2020 meeting:

This month's meeting will again be held virtually, over zoom, at 7pm. Tonight we'll be voting to elect board members for the coming year, discuss (and hopefully vote on) a new paddling skills class subsidy proposal, and catch up with paddle friends. Just click this link to join at 7pm:

The June meeting will be held on the last Monday of the month, June 29th at 7pm. More details to follow (online or virtual, etc.) later.

The June meting on the 29th at 7pm will also be held via zoom. The link to join will be provided here shortly before the meeting. We hope you'll be able to join us!

We're going to keep this one on as social as possible! We're using the free version of zoom this month so we are limited to 45 minutes, but if everyone wants to keep going we can generate a new link at the 45minute mark.

Our July meeting will also be online, on Monday, July 27th at 7pm.

I will post a zoom link below, shortly before the meeting. All you have to do is click the link and it will take you right into the meeting, starting at 7pm. No need to set up any kind of account. We hope to see you there!

The virtual August meeting will be on Monday the 31st at 7pm, via a zoom link. The link will be posted shortly before the start time.

There have been new programs passed in the past few months, including a paddle skills course subsidy program available to active NW Chapter members, and a FREE paddling instruction program being run by the ACC for dues paying members. A vote was also passed last month to allow for the paid version of zoom for the NW Chapter meetings, so we won't be time limited now.

We hope you'll join us to talk with other paddlers, find out about other upcoming club activities/programs, or to learn more about the recently passed programs noted above. See you there!

The final monthly meeting of 2020 for the Northwest Chapter will be on Monday, November 30th, from 7-8pm. A zoom link to join the meeting will be posted below shortly before the meeting start time. We hope you'll join us and share your trip reports and any other fun paddling tidbits that have happened through the year.

The NW Chapter plans to resume monthly meetings in 2021 on January the 25th, on the last Monday of the month as usual, from 7-8pm. Currently, we are expecting this to still be via zoom.

We're going to continue our meetings virtually for now, on the last Monday of each month at 7pm. We encourage anyone interested to join us. Come to the meeting to meet other members, learn about new club updates, upcoming training opportunities and share your paddle trip reports. We look forward to seeing you there!
