The State of Arkansas has a good guidebook incorporated into their Adventure Travel Guide, available from the Department of Tourism. Whitewater is available on the Mulberry River, Lee Creek. Frog Bayou, and Big Piney Creek. If class II whitewater isn't your interest the lower sections of these same watersheds empty into the Arkansas River and provide calmer trips along with the Arkansas River itself. Also look north into Missouri there are several spring fed streams north of the boarder. Hope this helps. BOB
