The Environmental Law Society at the University of Arkansas School of Law will host a panel discussion on Climate Change, new EPA power plant rules, and the future of Arkansas energy production at the law school in Fayetteville next Monday, April 6. Panelists include Glen Hooks from the Sierra Club, Lanny Nickell from Southwest Power Pool, and Stuart Spencer from the Arkansas Department of Environmental Quality. Little Rock environmental law attorney Ross Noland, who also serves as an adjunct faculty member at the law school, will moderate the panel.
The event is open to the public and certainly serves to facilitate a lively debate on the future of Arkansas energy production. The discussion will begin at noon in Waterman Hall, room 328. I hope that some ACC members will be able to attend. If you have any questions, please send me an email at mlg016@uark.edu or pm here.
