I had heard deer camp was reserved, but just read on the entry form it's only for officials and volunteers.

I plan on trying it out, might not be that bad temp. wise. Thinking that I'm going to go down early Friday and depending on water level float a bit.

deer camp is reserved for the race. We ask that you do not plan on camping there.

Parking is extremely limited at Deer Camp and we will need the room to stage all of the vehicles needed for the race volunteers.

I'd also hate for anyone's gear to get run over, when people are driving in for the after party Saturday night.

Rob, I am camping at either the falls or Sandbar. Will be there Friday morning. Bring it! We have firewood, propane heaters, canopies, lots of fleece and beer. Bring whisky though.
