Here are the dates for the pool sessions. They are held at the Jones Center for Families in Springdale. You will want to enter on the Southwest corner of the building. We will have the gate open for you to bring your boats downstairs to the pool. If you have any ?s please ask.

We need as many ACA level 4 certified instructors at the pool so we may be able to hold roll clinics at the pool sessions. Please post up if you can make it. Thank you!!

December 13 8:30am – 11am
January 17 8:30am – 11am
January 24 8:30am – 11am
February 7 8:30am – 11am
February 21 8:30am – 11am

There also appears to be a kayak practice session at the U of A, HPER building
Tuesday December 9th
6:30-8:30
FREE/$5/$10

I have no idea what the different pricing is all about. I assume the FREE is for U of A students, it's the $5/$10 that confuses me.
Anyway, here's the link to the U of A's Outdoor Rec Schedule of events.

I bought Doug Webber's. I sold the Jackson Rockstar to a nice guy from Iowa that met me at the Ford on Saturday. Now I need to figure out a way to get Doug's boat up here. . .

Good luck on picking it up. You might post on the board, to see if anyone is coming up to the ford this weekend form down that way. Just a suggestion .
See you Saturday.

Doug was working on finding someone, but that's a great idea. I'll check with Doug and follow up.

I'll be there trying to get the canoe roll, for the second winter. Please, please, please clean your boats inside and out. If we leave the pool funky, we risk not being allowed back. I sure don't want to be the guy who gets our pool privileges revoked. -M- :myday"

A quick run through the car wash on the way to the pool works wonders. Thanks -M-

We had an awesome turn out for today's pool session. I counted well over 30 boats. I was able to get my first openboat roll ever! I also had the pleasure of watching Avery Mcfetrige pop off 4 rolls, her first time ever in an Octane 91. Go Avery! Thanks for taking away all my excuses.

Thank you Tracy. I know Rob helped at least one kayaker get his first roll, too. Very productive day indeed. We just need more sessions, more often! -M-

Awesome roll session ! I'd say the credit goes out to Tom for putting on a great roll lesson & I know he helped Kelley get her first roll plus he help a few more get theirs ! Great job Tracey & Tom for making it all happen!
