One Day Swiftwater Rescue class

So the new boaters park in Siloam Springs is open and doing well.
I think it is time we started using it for the good of the paddling community.
I am going to give a one day entry level Swiftwater Rescue class on July 20th.
This will cover the basics and give the student a head start on a full blown weekend long
level 4 class.
The class will start 8 am and conclude 5 pm.
It will be held at the boaters park in Siloam Springs.
This is a great class for anyone starting to boat as boating skills are not a requirement.
This will focus on what to do after you are out of the boat. You don't even need to bring a boat.
You will need to bring: Water, lunch, a chair, sunscreen and clothes to swim in.
You can bring if you have, (but don't go out and buy for the class) throw ropes, straps and carabiners.
The cost will be $40 for the entire class.
We will be using the ACA insurance for the class so anyone who has a valid ACA membership number
can deduct $5 from the price of the class.
Class will be limited to the first 10 who post back here
We will be doing the water drills first thing in the morning as to minimize the impact of the others using the park.
Feel free to pm me with any questions.
Thanks
Steve
