Potluck at the winter board meeting Feb. 22

Post by Liz Caldwell » Sun Feb 09, 2014 3:40 pm

If you are planning to attend the ACC winter board meeting and potluck at Lake Fort Smith State Park, please sign up for a dish! We want to make sure we have enough of everything, and this lets you know whether to bake that cake or go with the dutch oven lasagna!

The club will provide a ham to start us off, but feel free to bring other meats and/or vegetarian main dishes. Don't have to feed the whole crew, just bring enough to feed you and several more. Dinner starts at 6 p.m. It's gonna be a great time!

We need:
Appetizers
Side dishes
Bread
Main Dishes
Desserts

Put me down for a Dutch Oven main dish. It will involve chicken.

I'm hoping to bring the rain. I'll see what I can cook up this week.

Okay, this is not potluck related, but thought I'd add this here:

If anyone from the Little Rock area will be going to the BOD meeting who needs to drive back to Little Rock Saturday night, please let me know. I need to get back that night, and would love to carpool if anyone else is in the same situation, although I know since it's a late meeting most will be spending the night.

As far as the potluck, I'm still bitter because buying a ham was my signature "thing" for all potlucks, and now the club is pitching in for the ham. It's so unfair. I'll think of something. :wht:
I've heard that into every life a little of it must fall,
but you'll never catch me complaining about too much of that southern rain.
