Re: Tuesday?
Was at wister today and it is washed out. Just a wave train. Wouldn't have driven out there for that if it wasn't for a certain salesman of a certain outfitter wouldn't have told me "Oh yeah man, 7000 is when it turns into the biggest wave in Arkansas". Anyways, drove the 108 miles to dierks (from wister) instead. Sleeping in my truck at dierks tonight. Only game in town. Btw I'm standing on top of my truck roof right now on my iPhone. Yeah that's kinda weird I guess....

Panicman,
Here are a couple links to bookmark.
Dierks lake level - http://www.swt-wc.usace.army.mil/webdat ... rrent.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Dierks dam outflow - http://www.swt-wc.usace.army.mil/webdat ... rrent.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Wister lake level and release - http://www.swt-wc.usace.army.mil/WIST.lakepage.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
The Dierks Outflow gauge was shorting out, but it appears to be in proper working order as of late. Worst case you can go to AW and there is a correlation with the Saline River gauge downstream on there. Dierks is dropping around half a foot a day and is 24 feet above conservation level, so if things stay consistent that would be 48 days of release.
On Wister we are looking for a sweetspot level of around 6500-6800. Not sure if it is in at 7000, but it is not in at the current release flows of 7300 cfs and higher, per visuals from Jack and Michelle Ashford.
