John Slater will be showing and talking about his Alaskan river trip on the Tatshehshini River this month. It should be a good video as they had a videographer on the trip and is pretty pristine piece of wilderness.

Next month is the scheduled election Crane. This month will be the last chance to nominate officers as per the e-mail, web post, and blurb in the Paddler.
At the time I put out the call those were the dates that would match with the lead time requirements set out in our Bylaws. I suppose we could do some of the same sorts of things that our government does and "suspend the rules" if we have enough of the membership show up and vote in favor of it, but I'd hate to throw the new Prez into the deep end with four days to get ready for the Spring Board/General membership meeting.
So far we have one name each for Treasurer and Pres, and no vice-pres volunteers.
