First look at Dallas Waves at 2000 cfs.

Post by Big Daddy D » Wed Apr 06, 2011 9:38 am

Yesterday was the first time any of us have seen the wave at this level. It was in the 2300 to 1800 range for the afternoon. Ben, Travis and I got to test it out.

Top feature is big and friendly with a nice foam pile. Plenty deep to initiate any hole moves.

At just above 2000, the second feature was really friendly and IMHO was more fun than the top wave. But once it dropped below 2000, it became stickier and rowdier similar to the 3rd feature at Dierks. You can still exit on river right easily.

Here's some footage I slapped together.

p.s. Just a reminder that the official grand opening is Saturday, May 7.
