David,

Man, got the information and passed it on.

We Tulsans very much appreciate your help on this. Kirby will be the gentleman coming down. He is one of the local Tulsa engineers advising us on how to get the Tulsa Wave back.

I can appreciate all the work done to get this park in Dallas. Be sure to post when the grand opening will happen so we can come down and support the event.

By the way, I'm sure I speak for all of the other North Texas paddlers when I say it is sure refreshing to read all this positive feedback in this thread. We posted this up on the Dallas Observer site and just got non stop trash talk from dozens of locals.

Your comment got me curious, so I googled and read some of those comments.

Wow, I didn't realize we were letting BABY KILLERS post on our site, and actually encouraging them!

Great report David! I can't wait to go over. When are we allowed to paddle there?

Big Daddy D wrote:As many of you know, The Dallas Standing Wave has been under construction for several months. Several of us have been working with the city and got to test paddle the waves. It's not officially open yet, but will open sometime in March once they finish the landscaping.
