Shoulder brace review

Post by Fish » Thu Jul 29, 2010 9:15 am

If you have shoulder problems, check this out. I didn't even know this was out there until recently:

http://www.kayakwesty.com/evs.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

So far, my shoulders are intact, but I've got some friends who might benefit from this, so I thought I'd post it.

I knew somebody had to make something like that - blew my shoulder getting jiggy with a post hole digger.

EVS website - http://www.evs-sports.com/product/shoulder-support/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Thanks El Pescado

Takes a real man to dig post holes. If you try to get jiggy with a man like that, you gotta expect consequences...

Uh-uh - takes a determined spouse who's way better looking than you wanting post holes dug.

Ya dig?

These do have application if used appropriately. Just make sure they are not used in lieu of proper strengthening and body mechanics. Repeated dislocations bode very, very ill for the shoulder over time.

Fish

Thanks for the info. Now maybe I can get back to boatball sooner :D

Been doing physical therapy to heal shoulder injury & this might just be the ticket to get back to paddling while giving the shoulder more time to strengthen.

Also, I used to paddle with a guy named Mark Cumnock (name of reviewer in the link) when I lived in Little Rock, he was just starting out kayaking then. Wonder if this is same guy? Last time I ran into him he was a raft guide on the Ocoee many moons ago.

Oh, by the way, when are you going to get boatball started in KC?

For once this Loren chick might be on to something... My grand-mother actually gave this a try the other day during her morning swim. She said it her 70 year old muscles did 3 times the job this brace does... Don't trip on yer rockin' chairs boys. Wouldn't want you to break a hip.
Smile, summer run-off is coming!!!
