Re: Recommended Nose Clip/Plug
Can't beat these. They are hand made and sold on ETSY. I purchased 3 pair last year and have had no problem with them. They were cheap, worked and shipping was fast. Hope it helps. https://www.etsy.com/listing/173146171/nose-plugs-for-kayaking-hand-made-in-my?ref=shop_home_feat_1" onclick="...

Re: Buffalo River floats
I've found that the days you choose can be as important as the location. I prefer to go midweek rather than a weekend. Tuesdays and Wednesdays are far less crowded. Hope this helps.

Fisher Ford Sunday 5/4
Anyone been to the Ford lately? How does it look with this low water level (324cfs)? I'm thinking of making a trip there on Sunday.

Keep an eye on craigslist. They seem to pop up fairly regularly. Good luck.

The Mulberry is an absolute gem. You will love it. I am planning on hitting the Mulberry next week, if water levels stay good. It will just be a day trip for me. Let us know when and where you will be. Perhaps we can meet up.

Ugh! That sounds great! Unfortunately, I am driving down to Dallas to pick out some new kayaks for the family. Post a video of the trip. Wish I could go.

New open canoe waterfall record
Here is the video of Jim Coffey setting a new open canoe waterfall record. Pretty outrageous.

Many variable can effect this, but as a general rule, I plan for 1 hour paddling time for every 2 miles of river when leading recreational paddlers.
