Thanks to the guys at Ouachita Outdoor Outfitters, I've been in the new 2016 3rd gen jackson rockstar for 2 weeks now. The 2 months before that I was paddling the 2015 2nd gen and before that paddled the first gen. I'm going to concentrate on the 3rd gen in this review!! WOW what a improvement over ...

We have a 2014 and it may be different from yours but we had to retro fit one of the Yakima landing pads. Not that big of deal. Subaru pissed Yakima off by changing there factory rack not long after Yakima tooled up to build the old old style.... That came from Yakima. Are yours the swing away facto...

Just my two cents, but It might be better to go to the city as a 700 family group (the ACC). I have found you can get more done with a big group than several individuals.
