Re: Little Maumelle

As dry as it is right now, and as low as the rivers are, the Little Maumelle River can still be a choice. The stretch of the river from Pinnacle Mountain State Park down to the Pinnacle Valley Rd. area, (about four miles), is probably too low, at least in the first mile or two. There is a private pu...

Re: Rendezvous 2017

How was the Rendezvous? I have been out of town for the last two weeks and missed the reports, I hope it was a delightful get-together!

Re: Little Missouri Saturday Sept 2

It was indeed a nice day today, I had a very nice float but I may I will call it my last trip over there for the year. We had a great group today, and everyone did very well, however the river was up several inches above the three-generator normal floats we had earlier in the Summer, I am grateful w...

Re: Dragover tomorrow Sat 8/19

What a nice day today! Thank all of you for coming, I always enjoy the visiting about as much as the paddling. As hot as it was today, we also had several opportunities to just lounge around neck-deep in the water :D I will look forward to the next trip! Best Regards Jim A side note to everyone who ...

Re: Dragover tomorrow Sat 8/19

I will see you all at River Bluff in the morning. I have floated the Cadron once this year so far, and the Upper Ouachita 0 times, so Upper Ouachita it is. It should be a very pleasant float :D

Re: Anybody want to float the Cadron tomorrow

The Cadron sounds good for Saturday, it should still be in the 3' range and I have only been able to get up there to float it once so far this year.
We would probably float it from CCO down to Hwy 65.

Best Regards

Re: Newbie with I am sure the same old question

Miquel, After researching the Old Town Discovery 133 , I see that it lists for nearly $1000, so that price looks a little better, especially if it is in top shape and you can barter other stuff for it in trade to lessen the amount you have to pay for it. I think it would be a pretty stable and durab...

I hope you all had a nice float yesterday, I regret not being able to join in the fun, but I wanted to work on another project Sunday afternoon. I do hope to see you on Saturday for the next trip. I'll watch the posts and look forward to the day!

Re: Little Missouri Friday July 21

Bob, I'm glad you are back in town! We missed you and Cowper on the float Saturday. We had a real nice group along on the float, and a good day. I seemed to be out front on this trip, and boy did that feel different. I kept wanting to apologize for not showing my new friend, Alan York, all of the ni...
