Re: FS: Playboat Package, Thule Roof Rack and a few other th

I only do transactions in rare stones now. They are catastrophic government monetary system collapse proof. Glenn Beck has been saying it for to long not to listen. Sorry for the trouble.

FS: Playboat Package, Thule Roof Rack and a few other things

I am in town for a couple weeks (sort of) and would like to try and sell some gear as a package deal. Consider it an "Everything You Need" type package. I am asking for $500 but would certainly be happy to talk price. The package includes: Package Deal (prefer not to split up): - Bliss-Sti...

Upper Upper Kali Gandaki

Helmet cam footage from our 2-day trip down the Upper Upper Kali Gandaki in Nepal. We put on around the town of Tatopani and paddled to Beni. Using Google Maps it looks like it was somewhere between 15-20 miles. The only real mention of this stretch in the "White Water Nepal" guidebook by ...

Hazard Creek Hot Lap

Here is a short (7 minutes) video I made of a lap down Hazard Creek from June 2012. I am just now getting to go through all my footage from the last year because I haven't had access to a computer with editing powers. Hazard Creek is a tributary to the Little Salmon River near McCall, ID. We will us...

Re: WTB bag to take my kayak on a plane

Yeah, I should say that I am not necessarily questioning the integrity of the bag itself, just more commenting that it sucked I only got one use out of it. It really looked like someone took a knife and cut all my camstraps off the bag to get inside it, and just went ahead and cut the bag open too. ...

Re: WTB bag to take my kayak on a plane

Lorraine, I used the Salamander Roedo Yak Wrap to take my Jefe to Nepal last year. It worked pretty well, I stuffed most my gear in my boat and set my paddle on top of the boat (and then used a camstrap to synch it down against my boat), and put it in the bag. I then took 3 camstraps and synched the...

I am in San Marcos until December 9th. (at which point I leave the country), I would be happy to be an accessory to this transaction if it helps someone out. Just shoot me a PM.

Nepal Trip Video

Hey All, I just recently finished editing a video from our trip to Nepal last year. We were there for nearly 3 months and were able to do quite a bit of paddling. Unfortunately midway through our trip, a few injuries and some folks heading to India, it ended up just being my friend Richard and I. We...

Re: Kayak Back Pack experience?

I may have misread your post, thinking you were talking about using them for portaging. Even for hike ins I would say they are a burden unless it is a lengthy distance, and dragging your boat would be more realistic.

Re: Kayak Back Pack experience?

The problem with all the pack systems is they are very inconvenient to setup and you generally need another person to help you stand up/get it positioned on your back. Unless you are doing very lengthy portages, like a mile or longer, then you are going to waste a lot of time getting it setup to car...

Re: Interior Secretary

I couldn't think of a nicer state to spend the afternoon sitting around just talking to locals. The wolf topic is so extremely polarized there it is not worth bringing up because everyone has pretty strong feelings about it. I certainly understand the viewpoint of the locals, but I also understand t...
