ran l. mulberry to Whoop and holler today. fine level at 6:00 . The level is a couple of tenths higher than normal for a TB reading as no water is coming in below L. mulberry.

thats just sad. condolences to the family.

at Canoe School weekend i saw 3 groups go by from the bank. Jon's group was very noticeably laughing and encouraging each other (and boofing) at the end of a long weekend for everyone, just like has been mentioned.

i think the shoe run hs more rapids/mile than about anything. you guys should have seen the water upriver on canoe school weekend.
warning- as far as i know the shoe run is officially closed, it was opened for canoe school. apparently that road is only good enough for logging trucks

would like to run it now vs back in the noob days in a 17' keeled boat just to see. lots of trees down then and bushy portages. its a wilderness area and a long way out if something happens. That creek should NOT be listed in the Arkansas Floaters Kit that used to be available at the rest areas for ...
