I've known this guy my whole life. He's an open-boater flirting with the dark side.
Doubt he'll be there tonight, plans changed.

Re: Dutch Oven Cooking Demonstrator needed

DO cookbooks? Is that cheating? It would be a great exercise in constructivsm, wouldn't it? Give them some basic information and turn 'em loose. Remote thermometers are bad form, aren't they?

I like my food mostly burned, anyway.

I know somebody who needs a little help in learning a sweep roll. Anybody planning on being there that could help?

Re: Dutch Oven Cooking Demonstrator needed

I'm certainly not as experienced in DO cookery as the venerable Crane, but just to muddle the waters I will be an example of just how EASY it is. Heck, some charcoal, some good food to start with, what can be so hard? I saw an awesome pizza cooked at canoe school. Not into any fancy deserts, just me...

Hey, Larry, I'm not qualified to litigate this but you could do pro bono, right? Don't you legal eagles have to do a certain amount of that? Even if the club was inclined to, I doubt that it could afford legal fees. :poke:

I was thinking Snow creek to Hector bridge. Easy, fast shuttle. Could do loops on Snow creek as well.

Re: UALR POOL SESSIONS 2-4 & 2-7

The lot west of the pool was open Wednesday, gate was up. I asked an officer if I could park, he said as long as the gate is up, it's open to all. Maybe just luck on my part.

Too high for what? Pete Rose and I were involved in community service Saturday that will both beautify our 'hood and reduce the carbon footprint of the gas-guzzeling behemoths we drive. Thanks to our efforts, this most recent expedition by ARG was carbon-neutral. Had we not honored our committment t...

Re: Coal Plant Public Hearings next three days

I'll jump in on this since I'm getting a snow day and need a substitute for the teaching I'd usually be doing. This is more of an opinion, though. Someone will no doubt correct me, but in the past when the EPA has set tough limits or standards, the industry affected has driven the technology to meet...
