Re: Where to Overnight Float?

Thanks for the response Eric! The thing is we do an overnight trip twice a year on the Buffalo. (One of my favorite places!) I was hoping I could find something different that will be as accommodating as the Buffalo? I know thats a tall order :wht: Thanks, for the info!

Any recommendations? first thoughts are Ouachita, Little mo below HWY 84, Caddo? My concerns are property ...

Re: Cossatot Question.

This is a very easy but nice float. (No comparison to the upper)I paddled it last year with some friends and had a good time there aren't many gravel bars but there is good scenery. Only hazard is a low water bridge that might need to be portaged depending on flow. A total guess but i believe it was...

Re: Good All Around Arkansas Raft?

Dogpatch your situation sounds just like what my wife and I are trying to do. We work well in our tandem canoe (Blue Hole OCA) and we love it! But we are also looking to step up our game and I believe this will be the best way for us to go. With her experience with rafts I think we will fall in love...

Re: Good All Around Arkansas Raft?

Thanks for the info! I'm in the process of putting funds back to make a purchase, i have found they don't give these boats away. My wife guided on the Nantahala in the early 00's and I grew up in northwest AR Canoeing all the streams in the northwest/ northern corner of the state. I am thinking my f...

Good All Around Arkansas Raft?

I was thinking about getting a raft for rivers/creeks such as the Cossatot, Little Mo., Hailstone,..... What would be a good size to take 3 or 4 paddlers down river? I know I want self bailing. Any advice would be much appreciated!

Thanks!
