Re: Opinion of Mohawk Saddle & Thigh Retainer System?
I've got the mohawk set up in my probe, and I just can't seem to get it right. I am thinking about either changing the whole thing, or adding a couple of inches of height to the saddle and moving the foot pegs back.
Any suggestions?

Dry Top Found Last March
I found a small dry top on the road between Boxley and Ponca last March, a couple of days after the flood. At the time I didn't know about this web site, and I just recently remembered finding the top. If this is your's, please describe the dry top, and I will mail it to you.

Re: Bayou Chapter of ACC?
I'm in Lufkin, Texas and would be interested. I might even be able to make it up to Shreveport for a meeting a few times.

Re: Cold Weather Gear
Hey all, so I am finally getting around to thinking about purchasing some cold weather gear. Based on your responses, which I do appreciate, and some additional research, I think I am going to start with a farmer john wet suit, I haven't decided on 2.5mm or 3mm, any input is appreciated, and a dry t...

Cold Weather Gear
Can any of y'all give me some idea of what kinda of gear I need for paddling when it is colder? Say 50 to 60 degrees air temperature, cold water. Mainly spring in AR and OK. I am a novice in an open boat. So getting wet is highly likely.

Thanks Patti.
I would like to float it.
I am hoping to be up for a week in March, maybe I can get it then.

Little Buffalo
Has anyone run, or know of anyone, that has floated the Little Buffalo from Jasper to the Buffalo? What kind of run is it, etc.?

Re: Anybody for Monday?
Upper Tot, Lil Mo, or Piney all sound good.
I am thinking about coming up on Sunday to paddle Monday. Someone call me. 936.635.2387
I don't have power down here in East Texas, so my internet access is limited.
Thanks, Chris.
Hope to see you at the put in.

Yeah that sounds great. I haven't done Piney so I would like to do that.
Let's see what the storm does. I am planning on coming up Sunday and floating Monday. Let's see if we can get some more people together.

Re: Anybody for Monday?
I think both of those are a bit over my head. I was thinking the upper reaches of the Tot or Big Piney. Also would like to get on the Mulberry or the Little Missouri. I am in favor of paddling something that isn't normally runnable, but also want to stay on something where I have a good comfort leve...

Anybody thinking about paddling some Class II to III stuff on Monday?
If the storm gives us some rain that is. I am still trying to see if I can get away from work, so this is in the conceptual stages still. If you are interested let me know. hooverandtar@hotmail.com
