Re: Boatball, Wed, 5:30 PM, West Fork Riverside Park

...change me to a maybe. I'm going to try for a second shot at the Frog this afternoon if I can break loose for 'happy hour'.

Re: Mulberry tmrw 3/5

Rob, where is "Clear" creek. Is that near the Frog? I've only done the Frog from that lw bridge to Rudy. CC Don't think Clear will be running. It is a tributary to the Frog, ~15 miles upstream from Lancaster (where you put on). kru Thanks, I could not find it on my water levels doohickey....

Re: FORD - 3.2 Lower Long Boat Surfing:Report

You guys.... The Ford does rock. The thing I realized that makes the Ford so awesome is the controlled predictability of it. I was sure being on the Ford 99% would 'sink' me, and quite frankly I was nervous about my first 'real river' trip. NEVER planned to go anywhere that first year. I r...

Yes, the pre-paddle diet will get better attention. Thanks again for letting me try your Jackson. I look forward to hitting a good river run in the Karmas! :yahoo:

Re: FORD - 3.2 Lower Long Boat Surfing

Trip Report: The Ford was running about 3.24. We arrived around 3:05pm. It was sunny. In attendance was myself...and my wife; and she eluded to the idea she was 'only' there because we were sharing the same vehicle. She was there strictly as an observer. After suiting up and outfitting my new Karma,...

Re: Northwest chapter winter pool sessions

Thanks so much to the ACC for arranging these roll sessions!! What a thrill to see my wife go from total fear & panic over being under water [first session]...to bringing up her Zen with a hip snap and a slight paddle assist [last Saturday]!! If the boat hadn't been filling up with water so fast...

Don't be a dummy...save one.

CPRCourse013015.JPG Last night I took the CPR/AED course put on by Tom Burroughs and Lorraine. It was not what I expected. IT was a LOT of information, but very simple to understand, with a very reassuring update to my 20 year old training in CPR. CPR has been simplified/improved since I was a youn...
