Man the weather changes fast. currently does not look so appealing. gonna wait and see. may have to postpone a few days.

Can't wait any longer. it looks like the weather and water will be synchronized for some good fishing and floating next week. If anyone wants to join in, I plan on camping at Ozark and shuttling around. Come join in the fun.

Got to add my 2 cents. North Face Cat's Meow, 20 degree bag will keep you comfortable even when wet. Many wet damp nights on the appalachian trail and it's snug as can be. packs nice in it's own bag but you can buy a compression sack that will cut the size in half. for warmer weather, not hot but 35...

From the parameters you set, I would recommend the Athens, Big Fork trail which is a loop trail starting around the Albert Pike Campground (you pick where you want to park and start) and is a good 2 night trip. Just google athens big fork and you can check it out.

Luke, I mainly echo the info already presented. we have some great opportunities here in arkansas and i have done end to end ozark and ouachita trails. ouachita outdoor outfitters has some good stuff and don and jeremy know their stuff. if you want to be out 5 to 10 days on the trail, don't skimp on...

Minna, i am not sure which way you will come into murfreesboro but all roads lead to a 4 way crossing of 27 and 19. take 19 north to the narrows dam park which is the put in. this is about 5 miles from the intersection of 27 and 19. hope to see you there.
