Re: WTB LL Remix or other crossover

Still looking... Now also considering bigger boats in the 10' - 13' range. These will mostly be used for down river overnight floats but some paddling on Degray & Ouachita lakes also.

LF kayak dealers in SW arkansas

I haven't been having any luck finding a used kayak within reach of Texarkana so now I'm looking to buy new. I've done some googling but I can't seem to find any (non big box) dealers near Texarkana or hot springs. Mostly looking for a nice cross over like an LL 10xp but there are many other boats &...

WTB LL Remix or other crossover

Looking to buy 1 or 2 cross over boats preferably a LL XP9 or the likes. We aren't proud so we are very much OK with a "well used" boat. I'm in Texarkana but willing to come to you if you're not too far.

FWIW riders are 5'6"ish 150-170ish.

Re: LF Shuttle for Upper buff /Poncha hiking

I wasn't needing a shuttle from steel creek, as we planned to hike back to LVC or BOC. $10 is an awesome deal that will earn my business for a long time when ever I'm up in that area.... I would of considered $20 to 25 to be fair... the LVC driver will probably get that difference as a $15 tip. $40 ...

We (2 adults 2 youth) are backpacking the Ponca Wilderness next week & and will start at the Centerpoint trailhead on Thursday & will end around Steel Creek on Sunday... We were looking for a place to park/shuttle. can anyone recommend someone? BOC can do it, but $40 seems a bit high for a o...

Backpacking recommendations

I know some of you guys do or have done some overnight backpacking in AR before so even though this is a paddling forum I figured I'd get better results here than on a random backpacking forum.... I'm looking at doing our first over night backpacking trip in late March. It will be myself, my brother...

Re: albert pike

I agree with Jim. I can understand not rebuilding and not repening the campground to camping, but there is no reason to not go in there and clean it up, to remove the damaged picnic tables and such (it does looks like they have removed some). Had I lost of friend or family member in the flood I woul...

Re: albert pike

Thanks for the info on the burn ban. Yea, its a somber reminder when driving through there. We were not planning on camping in the campground, but about a mile past it further up into the forest. I haven't been over to shady lake in years, that may be a good idea.

albert pike

We are thinking about making a short notice camping trip to the albert pike area this weekend. I haven't been up there since the spring and don't know if that area is suffering from the same dry drought conditions that we are having here in texas. Does anyone know if they have had rain recently and ...
