Re: Friday Pre-Labor Day Lil Mo

Re: Friday Pre-Labor Day Lil Mo

The SWEPCO spreadsheet shows that for the first 3 hours they will run all 3 generators. During the 4th hour they will run with 2. Re: Upcoming Lil Mo trips

The spreadsheet shows water flow per hour. So when generation starts at 1400, the flow rate for the hour is 0. At 1500, the flow rate is now 8, 16, or 24 per hour (that's one, two, or three generators).

Re: Harlan Hughes TRIATHLETE!!!

I was one of the officials at the River Cities Triathlon but missed seeing Harlan among the 1200+ participants. Since there was no hydraulic on Cypress Black Bayou, we missed the chance to pull him to safety.

An adventurous spirit and a willingness to learn. Seriously, Swiftwater Rescue is more than throwing a rope to a swimmer. It's a way of looking at a situation and determining what should be done. Although having been on moving water will give you a frame of reference, there is no prerequisite for th...

The July 28-29 SWR Class may be full, but there are still spaces available in the August 11-12 class.

Both will be taught at Camp Couchdale and Rockport (Tanner Street Bridge).

Re: Cadron Sunday 1/29 11 a.m. under the bridge

JoJosand, the plan is to meet under the Hwy 65 bridge at 11 AM. We will consolidate vehicles and move to the put-in which is 8 river miles above the 65 bridge.
