trolling moter will come in handy getting up the white .5 mile to take out. this section of the buffalo is the longest and slowest. boats coming up from white river. but its a section you have to do once, bluffs lots of great sandbars, wildlife, etc. robert

i have paddled all the above all the way down to hwy 63 outside of warren. the north fork section is great. alum fork is pretty good, it goes by the bsa camp quapaw, whitch brought back memoes of old times. the section down to I-30 is ok but short. past thier is a little slow amd a lot of hunting cl...

if the piney holds above 5' tomarrow, anybody up for upper section, walnut creek to limestone, 6mi. class 2+. this is my last section on the piney and it is supose to be funner than heltons to longpool, or maybe hurricane creek.. robert

really would of liked to paddle upper lee( the run down from devils den is the my last section to finish up west ozarks chapter in toms blue book) or clear creek and ceder ( to finish up west ozarks chapter in toms green book). went to the dentest yesterday and didn't fill like making that 4 hour dr...

i have been thinking about doing this for awhile. i have found the first bridge ( thought is was at 2 mi.) and the 2nd bridge access at 5 mi. both of these access looded good. i would be interested in doing the whole 9 mi. robert

it looks like lee creek might hold one more day for a run down from dd. and mf little red is kicking. maybe n. cadren, e. cadren, sflr last section.

after checking the gages i think middle fork little red, archeys fork little red, south fork little red, east cadron creek would be great. if lee holds above 6' i would do the devils den run. if the tot holds above 4' i would do the fr31 to ed banks. but i don't think thay will hold. anybody? robert

i have been saying this for years and i meet canoeman down at his place on the guadalope. his info is for referance only.. he has not paddled all the rivers he writes about nor has tom kennon. i have yet to find any paddling info that was 100% corret. use thier info as a starting point. do your own ...
